Victoria Memorial is one of the largest tourist destination in Kolkata as well as in India .This memorial was built in 1921, dedicated to the memory of queen Victoria.Every day thousands of visitors come across the whole world to see this memorial. This memorial is lied on the Maidan ground in Kolkata on the bank of river Hooghly .There are a large field,palace and a museum .This place covers nearly 64 acres and is maintained by the team of 21 gardens .This beautiful place was architected by the British architecturer William Emerson.The whole palace was built with beautiful marble stones.
